Please be advised that Highway 1 is expected to be impacted by fire FS 014 in the next 30 minutes to an hour. At this time, the ferry will cease operation and the roadblock at Checkpoint will be closed until it is deemed safe by the relevant authorities. Those travelling by road should exercise extreme caution. Please visit drivenwt.ca for the most updated information on road closures.
