Attention Residents Of Fort Simpson:

Highway 1 is now open to traffic but only to south bound headed vehicles. The MV Lafferty is in operation for normal hours. Fort Simpson and Wrigley are still under evacuation orders. If you wish to evacuate in your personal vehicle now is your chance to leave safely. The Northern Gas Bar will be open ONLY for those who need gas and snacks to leave. You will be escorted from road block at causeway to the Ferry Landing ONLY.
